Serve as Team member on a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC).
Monitor and respond to global IT services including voice/data network, hardware, servers, and business applications with provided tools.
Manage incidents and escalate to the next Level of support.
Provide customer support issues/questions and escalate to the next level of support.
Provide first level troubleshooting for IT equipment, network devices, servers, and applications.
Responsible for supporting NOC and Service Desk function. Receive and respond to issues, inquiries and requests (calls, emails and chat) while also addressing connectivity and availability alerts for clients, business partners and service providers.
Process daily Command Center tasks, functions and batch processing.
Perform and assist with network maintenance and testing.
Notify customers, end users, affected partners, and service providers of outages and/or maintenance schedule via email, phone calls, SMS, and other communication media.
Maintain service trouble tickets, outage log and shift logs.
Generate service performance reports and network performance metrics to NOC management.
Contribute technical solutions to the Knowledge Base.
Perform initial triage on break/fix issues from clients, business partners and service providers.
